During your internship, you will work alongside the Human Resources team that is responsible for all internal communication. Being an international company located in Flanders, implies that there is a continuous language effort to be done to be on one side compliant with the law and on the other side accommodate all different nationalities we have in our company. Offering our employee policies and processes in several languages is one of our missions to make employees feel included. This mission can not be carried out only by the HR team and therefore we are looking for an intern who wants to contribute to creating a successful employee journey.

The impact you will bring: 

• Review key employee policies and guidelines.
• Translate organisational documents from English into Dutch and/or Dutch into English (mainly for the HR department but can be extended to other departments).
• Review and improve all HR communication templates and documents with an attention to detail and language.
• Assist with PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist in employee events (Knowledge information sessions, team buildings, networking events…).
• Create diverse communication documents (Newsletters, Flyers, Social Media posts...).

Profile

• Internship as part of your studies with a compulsory internship agreement.
• Education: internship as part of a Bachelor in translation, interpreting, applied linguistics, communication, ... or equivalent.
• You have a fluent pen and combine these strong editorial skills with eye for detail in spelling and grammar 
• You enjoy writing and find pleasure in creating strong and clear messages on social media
• Strong knowledge of English and Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is a plus, but not essential as it concerns translations into English and Dutch.
• Strong writing skills in English and Dutch.
• You are willing to learn and take feedback as an opportunity to grow, making a mistake is a way to learn and grow

A mileage allowance can be agreed upon as a compensation for your work-home commute.
